In the past week, 93 Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Charis. There were many children with their mothers and grandmothers. We saw the sadness on their faces, we felt the pain in their souls, and we listened to their life stories. We were glad to be able to provide them with food, warmth, peace, and relaxation. It was a great pleasure to see the children find their way back to childhood and play. When they left, many of them cried and told us that they could hardly wait to see us again, but not in the context of the war.
And because we could not have done much without your help, we want to thank you for your support! We also want to give you the opportunity to see some pictures of the Ukrainian refugees in the Charis Center.
